Doncaster Microchipping was born from a real need! As Ragdoll cat breeders ourselves, operating as Purrfect Paws Ragdolls (do visit our sister site for a daily dose of cuteness!), we found the cost of microchipping our kittens before they went to their new homes – a legal must-do in the UK – was hitting us hard. We’re talking upwards of £24 per kitten, easily over £100 a litter!
So, we took matters into our own hands. We completed a DEFRA-approved training course, mastering the art of microchip implantation in puppies, kittens, cats, and dogs. This not only saved us money, but got us thinking… In today’s world, with finances stretched thin, why should we be the only ones saving? Why not extend those savings to other responsible pet owners and breeders?
And that’s how Doncaster Microchipping came to life! We’re still passionate Ragdoll breeders, but now we’re also dedicated to making microchipping affordable for everyone.”
